# Introduction
> Yellowbrick tracks stock pitches and authors from around the web, then indexes them so you can find ideas that match how you invest.
Yellowbrick tracks stock pitches and analysts from across the internet. We collect ideas from blogs, newsletters, fund letters, Twitter, and similar sources. Then we categorize and index pitches and authors so you can hone in on ideas that match your strategy. We also track the returns of each pitch and each author, so you can find the ones with the best performance.
## Why it exists
Reading hundreds of accounts across sites became impossible. It was even harder to tell which authors had real returns versus overhyped names riding the latest trend. Managing tens of subscriptions on top of that was tedious.
We built Yellowbrick to be the place you go for high-signal stock pitches from authors whose work holds up.
